The Legendary 339 + 4

SOLD. This is a wood burning that I did of the legendary grizzly bear named 399, with her four cubs. These beautiful bears gained worldwide fame in 2020 for a bear of her age to have emerged from hibernation with four healthy cubs. The wood burning is on live edge poplar wood, and the dimensions are 28 inches long, by about 16 inches at the widest, and 1.5 inches thick. This is the wood burning that was the biggest I had ever done at this point, and took the longest by far by taking around 30 hours. It was an extremely fun and rewarding project though!

I made sure to document each step of this wood burning, with updates every day that I worked on it, as shown below. I found it to be more fun to show people the process and how I go about moving through the wood burning.
